We landed in the United Kingdom

10·10·2022·Technology

Two years ago, we joined the Global Entrepreneur Programme, organized and supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy to boost the development of creating innovative technological solutions in the field of energy.

We landed in the United Kingdom

Through the program and in order to take a step forward in the renewable energy project, we landed in southern UK, Cornwall, in October 2021. The goal was to investigate the wind energy industry, discover current needs and problems. Then followed months of thorough research to collect data and carry out their first flight missions, with the aim of gathering valuable information for this project.

With the support of a grant from the Cornwall Aerospace Industry Council, we had the opportunity to develop the first artificial intelligence model capable of identifying parts and damages of a wind turbine. In the following months, we continued collecting information and the current model evolved to develop new capabilities.

In October 2022, the Uali operations center was created in Cornwall, where new training cycles were carried out on the artificial intelligence model, and capabilities for detecting faults and anomalies with moving wind turbines were added, coordinating a new operation and carrying out the first flight in the UK.

Our technology aims to reduce the cost of operations in inspection services and engineering reports, from days to just hours. In each mission carried out together, the goal was to increase our artificial intelligence accuracy to detect critical events and also calculate the size and location of various events.

Excited about the impact that innovative technology has on the wind energy industry and the world in general, at Uali we continue to evolve and continuously refine models to provide processed, detailed, and relevant information to the industry.

We join the energy evolution by combining robotics, IoT, and AI with the aim of providing valuable and actionable information that optimizes decision-making processes in asset management. Saving time, costs, and having positive impact on the environment. Get to know us!
